YOUR LIFESTYLE ROADMAP STARTS HERE
A: It is a myth that any form of massage therapy (even Deep Tissue) must be painful to be effective.
In fact, pain can cause muscles to seize up, making it harder for your therapist to ease tense areas.
ALWAYS tell your therapist if you would like more or less pressure at any time during your session.
A: Undress to your level of comfort, may that be fully clothed or fully nude. You will be covered and modest at all times.
A: Being self-conscious should not keep you from seeking health care.
We are non-judgmental and focused only on your muscles and skeletal structure.
A: Although some people prefer to talk throughout the massage, do not feel like you have to make conversation. This time is for you.
Many people close their eyes and try to relax.
We are here to hold space with you.
A: GOOD! Our goal is to put you into parasympathetic state, which activates your body's self-curative abilities.
When your body is fully relaxed, deep healing can take place.
Sleeping during your massage is a compliment to us!
A: Going to the restroom before your session begins is ideal, but if you need to go during the session, be sure to let your therapist know.
Holding it is not comfortable or conducive to relaxing.
A: Let your therapist know if you are ticklish before your massage begins. Usually, firm and slow pressure (and avoiding certain areas) can keep you from feeling ticklish during your session.
A: Gratuity is never required, nor is it expected.
We ask that you only give if you feel called to do so.
